I understand the ways in which ADHD and trauma can impact our emotions, relationships, and self-concept; where feelings of overwhelm, guilt, shame, frustration, and anger can leave us feeling stuck and isolated. I can help you make sense of your emotions; allowing you to approach these stuck points in new ways.
Together, we can work through overwhelming emotions to feel a renewed sense of happiness, connection, and confidence; develop a sense of self-compassion; learn to prioritize your needs and set healthy boundaries; better manage your time and energy; and improve your relationship with yourself and others.
My approach is warm, inclusive, and trauma-informed. This means that I'll see your "bad habits" as learned adaptive responses to a maladaptive environment, not character flaws.
